This work reflects on the beach as both a place of escape and a fragile ecological threshold. Where land meets sea, beauty can seem effortless: shifting light, open sky, and the continual movement of water. Yet the shoreline is increasingly shaped by human presence, through pollution, development, rising seas, and the debris left behind by leisure. The work invites us to see the coast not simply as a backdrop for our enjoyment, but as a living environment whose future depends on our ability to tread more lightly.
