CONCEPT & INSPIRATION
This painting was inspired by the act of expressing what is often left unsaid. It reflects themes
of emotional release, memory, and inner tension, exploring the relationship between control
and spontaneity, silence and declaration. There is a feeling here of something once felt but
never named. A love not confessed. A truth swallowed at the last moment. The brushstrokes
move the way memory does, uneven, emotional, sometimes blurred by time, sometimes
painfully sharp. You might see a horizon, or a figure, or only motion. Whatever you see is
correct. Whatever you feel is the language.
The layered process mirrors these ideas, emphasizing presence, concealment, and emergence.
