From the "West Side Series" captured on view finder camera and collected by the Brooklyn Museum and Museum of the City of New York. Bianchi’s work traces the evolving history of New York City, preserving the memory of the Twin Towers destroyed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
juxtaposition of old versus new, destruction versus construction, cobblestone versus concrete and glass, executed with a masterful eye for detail. even the clouds surrounding the top of the world trade center are visible - a feat impossible to achieve with silver gelatin.
